Candidates Night Tuesday--Please Attend, even if you have to come late or leave early

(Partially redacted)

Our elected representatives from both parties have been very supportive of the Neck--remember Governor McDonnell's 2010 plan to close the state park?  MNCA led the resistance and quickly got strong support from Supervisor Hyland, Delegate Albo, Senator Puller, and Congressman Connolly--and the park stayed open. But that support likely won't continue without citizen involvement, and attendance at last year's event was disappointing, to say the least.

At least eight candidates will be there, maybe ten, and it's a chance to hear from them directly, ask questions, meet some of their staff people, and perhaps get in a personal chat with one or more of them, before or after the main meeting.

Start time is 7:00, with maybe 15-20 minutes for refreshments and socializing, and end time will be no later than 9:00.

We all agree on MNCA's stated purpose:
"To promote the preservation of the historic, archaeological, and environmental resources of Mason Neck and to educate the community, and the public in general, about the unique resources of Mason Neck."

Hope to see you Tuesday!
