Get your running shoes ready! Sunday, October 6 is the date for Simple Changes 4th annual Hippo Run for Hippotherapy. Check in begins at 9am. Race starts at 10am. And we have openings for sponsors!
Sponsoring the Hippo Run is a great way to show your support for individuals with disabilities and their families. Everyone wants to feel like they belong. Simple Changes provides just such a place.
Riders at Simple Changes pay half the cost of each lesson. The remaining half is generated through donations and fundraisers such as the Hippo Run. Help us serve our riders with special needs by sponsoring the Hippo Run! It is a fun, family friendly event and you get your name on the t-shirt!
The run (or walk) travels through the beautiful trails of the Bureau of Land Management's Meadowood property on the Mason Neck Peninsula.
The mission of Simple Changes is to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities, their families, and community through exceptional programs, especially equine assisted activities.
