On Thursday November 8, the SWAT Team will be conducting training on the Meadowwood West portion of the property. The training will consist of a number of scenarios involving Police K-9 units, assisted by a small number of SWAT officers, conducting a search of the wooded property for a "suspect". The K9 dog will be on lead the entire time, until that time when the "suspect" is located. The "suspect" will be a K9 officer with a bite sleeve. Some of the team members will be parking at the main entrance off Old Colchester Rd., others will be utilizing their vehicles to form a "perimeter" around the property. We are hoping to have our helicopter join us for the training, but it will depend on their calls for service. The training should start at approximately 0800, and we should be out of there by 1500.
