Sniper Training at Meadowood TOMORROW

>

Thank you for allowing us to provide a sniper training day at Meadowwood on Wednesday, September 12, from approximately 1000hrs until roughly 1300hrs.  I wanted to give you a brief overview of what the training will consist of.
We will have six snipers, divided into teams of two, navigating through the woods and terrain of Meadowwood.  Starting at approximately 1000hrs, the sniper teams will begin the exercise from the rear of the Belmont Blvd. BLM Administrative House.  The teams will be moving through the property toward their target location, which will be the large open field just southeast of the Enchanted Pond adjacent to Gunston Rd.  The sniper teams will not be allowed to utilize any roads or trails located on Meadowwood, and will be instructed that they are not to be seen by anyone walking or horseback riding on the trails.
At the sniper target location, there will be a handful of "spotters", trying to catch the snipers moving into position.  These spotters will be walking the trails, but will not be allowed to venture off the trails.  At the conclusion of the exercise, when the snipers teams are in position, they will be directed to fire a BLANK round.  The spotters will be given an opportunity to find the sniper teams through the use of binoculars, etc.
Once each member of the sniper teams has fired their blank shot, and has been successfully undetected by the spotters, the training exercise will end.
Thank you again for this invaluable training opportunity, and please notify the boarders at Meadowwood that they are more than welcome to walk/ride the trails and try to find a sniper!
Should you have any questions please give me a call.
