Primary elections - for both Democrat and Republican candidates - will be held on Tuesday, June 13. Voters will vote at their regular polling places (usually Gunston Elementary for Mason Neck residents) from 6am to 7pm.
In addition, there will be a special Republican primary canvass on Saturday, June 10, from 10am to 3pm at South County Middle School. This special canvass is being held to determine the Republican candidate for 42nd district House of Delegates, to replace Dave Albo who announced his retirement earlier this year. The reason this canvass is being held separately from the primary elections is that Dave's decision to retire was made after the filing deadline for the regular primary.
For both the primary election and the primary canvass, you must be a registered Virginia voter.
